Each year at the Peoria Riverfront, we organize India Fest: a showcase of the diverse traditions that make up India’s heritage and vibrant culture, hosted in August in honor of India’s Independence Day. In 2024, we welcomed over 2,000 attendees for this event that has been going on since 2003.

Part of the proceeds from ticket sales raise funds for Central Illinois Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CCIBVI).

You can enjoy the event by simply coming to try various Indian delicacies from local Indian Food Vendors, shop for Indian clothes, handicrafts and other items and enjoy an evening of watching various cultural dances and music performances.
